Stripping off a second mortgage

Russell Adams Profile

Russell has been practicing Bankruptcy Law in the DC Metropolitan area since 1995.  He has helped thousands of individuals successfully navigate their way through the Bankruptcy system, giving them a fresh start free from debt.  Russell provides a very personal approach to his representation of clients, handling all aspects of a case personally, from the initial consultation to the preparation of the Bankruptcy petition, answering all questions himself without passing his clients off to a paralegal as is so often the case at many “Bankruptcy mills.”

Along with Russell’s extensive experience comes the knowledge of the workings of the local courts and a close working relationship with the Bankruptcy Trustees and creditors' attorneys. This makes your experience in the Bankruptcy system much more predictable than if you were to hire an attorney who just recently started handling Bankruptcy cases because they see it as a good business opportunity, as is so often the case these days.

With Russell as your attorney, you will know that your phone calls and emails will be returned or responded to within 24 hours at the latest, and most often the same day.  Russell is available to meet you according to your busy schedule and has weekend consultations to accommodate your work schedule.

Russell received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and his law Degree from the College of William & Mary.  He is licensed to practice in Virginia and the District of Columbia state and Federal Courts, as well as the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Russell is a member of the Northern Virginia Bankruptcy Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, the Fairfax Bar Association, Past-President of the McLean Bar Association, and has taught Bankruptcy Law as a continuing Legal Education Instructor and through the Department of Defense Financial Readiness program.
